Career Services

Westcliff University takes seriously our responsibility as your trusted academic organization to not only set you up with the tools to be educationally successful but also to prepare you with real life experiences that will help you excel as a professional.

Our growing Career Services department is constantly working hard to partner with potential employers, faculty, and alumni to innovate and expand our resources for student access. We encourage all students to maximize the resources we make available, and we welcome feedback on how we can further assist.

Westcliff University’s goal is help you successfully graduate with strong academics, transferable experiences, and tools in order to provide you as students and alumni a solid foundation for your career.

The purpose of the Westcliff University Career Services Department is to actively assist students and graduates in obtaining desirable employment through our career placement assistance program; however, Westcliff University does not guarantee college graduate employment. Westcliff University assists students and alumni with job placement services and provides information about employment opportunities with various employers. For the convenience of students and alumni, the university posts job listings at its discretion. However, no employers are recommended or endorsed by the university and a posting does not constitute a recommendation or an endorsement. Without limitation, the university is not responsible for wages, safety, working conditions, or any other aspect of any off-campus employment.  When applying for or accepting any offer of a position, students and/or alumni should use caution, common sense, prudence and perform any required due diligence in researching employers when applying for, or accepting positions.

Students and alumni are admonished, among many precautions, to avoid fraudulent job postings by visiting the websites of potential employers. By using the university’s Career Services Department, students and alumni consent that information found in their profiles, resumes, cover letters, and other relevant documents is truthful and accurately represents their experience and education. The Westcliff Career Services Department may remove or deny access rights to students and/or alumni who do not support the policies and protocols of the university.

The university reserves the right to refuse service to any business or entity whose business or related activities it believes are not appropriate. Likewise, the university reserves the right to exclude any employer from recruiting activities and to delete, edit or refuse any employer profile or job posting.  Any entity using the university’s Career Services Department for the purpose of recruiting must keep all student information confidential, regardless of its source and cannot be shared outside your organization or used for any other reason, including marketing to students.

The university reserves the right to advertise any listed position on social media sites maintained by the university. The university expects employers not to discriminate in the selection of employees on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, age, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, veteran status, or any other characteristic or feature protected under applicable federal or state law. As stipulated in the National Association for Colleges and Employers’ (NACE) Principles for Professional Conduct, employment professionals are to work within a framework of professionally accepted recruiting, interviewing and selection techniques.
